This handwoven wool fabric in a 2/2 twill weave is woven on a traditional woden loom using 100% hand-spun wool yarn. The use of hand-spun yarn gives the textile a distinctive character with subtle natural variation typical of traditional wool fabrics.

The 2/2 twill structure creates a strong and flexible cloth with a clear diagonal pattern. This weave was widely used in historical wool textiles because it combines durability with good drape.

The fabric has a natural off-white wool colour, reflecting the original shade of the wool without artificial dyeing.
